Leuze’s New Range of Sensors for Hygiene-Sensitive Production Processes
Our new stainless steel sensors, 53C series (hygienic design) and 55C series (wash-down design), were developed for applications with increased hygiene requirements. The housings of both sensor series are made of high-quality V4A stainless steel (AISI 316L). The smooth stainless steel surfaces (typical value ≤ 0.8 Ra) ensure that cleaning agents drip off directly and bacterial carry-overs in production systems are prevented. During the design process, great value was placed on shaping both the glass-free optics cover and the operational controls so as to be absolutely leak and gap free. All housing materials are FDA compliant and approved for direct contact with foods. This provides additional safety in food processing and packaging.
Siltec Stainless Steel Cable Trays
Siltec cable trays and cable routing systems have been developed with a special focus on the stringent hygienic requirements of the food industry.
SILTEC cable tray systems allow for cabling of several cables in one layer – on top of each other – and cable locking to make sure that the cables do not move. The systems allows good air flow between the cables and easy cleaning and inspection.
Detectable clamps and mounting devices provide easy mounting and fixing of cable trays and cables and are 100% chemical resistant.

Pizzato HX Stainless Steel Safety Switches for Hinged Doors

Versions with electronic contact blocks are equipped with LED’s for input, output and general device status.
